GILROY GARDENS COMMUNITY
APPRECIATION DAY
Before the gates opened on Saturday, March 28th for
the pre-opening community day, the Gilroy Rotary
Club was at work resurfacing walkways at the park.
Community Appreciation Day was free to
all Gilroy residents, and the Gilroy Chamber of
Commerce offered free display table space to its
membership.
Some 10,646 Gilroyans enjoyed the pre-opening.
The official opening took place on Sunday, March
29th. Some 3,462 people flooded in to enjoy the
first day this year’s season.
