What are some tips to keep makeup looking fresh when the skin dries during long winter events , particularly when events are held outdoors ? Dry skin is common in the winter as the humidity level outside drops and your skin tends to get dull . To keep your skin hydrated and makeup fresh , you need a good hydrating mist . Some of my go-to mists are by Jane Iredale and the Mario Badescu facial spray . For the lips , blot a moisturising lip balm or petroleum jelly before applying any lip colour . You can also use a lip base like MAC Prep and Prime Lip which will help keep your lips hydrated and lipstick intact .
Please recommend some colours and styles that will be in bridal makeup for the upcoming season . It depends on what the bride is looking for and what compliments her ensemble . Glittery eyes are usually a favourite in the
winter . Brides prefer using sparkle on the eyes . Along with that , we usually go with earthy tones overall on the eyes , keeping the glitter as the highlight of the eye makeup . Bold coloured pouts like deep reds and oranges compliment the earthy tones very well . For the second reception , a smokey eye with a glossy pout in pink or nudes is usually a preferred look .
