very talented designer Emraan Rajput. Rizwan Ahmed The diverse colour palette of greens, maroons, moonlight blue and blacks stole the show. The collection also featured his first bridal in a golden and white lehenga choli, worn by Nooray. Junaid Khan was the showstopper for the designer wearing a black kameez with elaborate yellow embroidery, giving a special performance for the showcase. Naushad Imdad So, these were our top three hits, let’s move on to the misses now. Fahad Hussayn Emraan Rajput Naushad Imdad’s ‘Eminence III’ Collection The idea of mixing eastern and western didn’t seem to work well for Naushad Imdad this year. A modern man looking for a contemporary look wasn’t the ideal for a bridal week. The heavy embroidery on the velvet suits, along with the colour palettes was displeasing to the eye. Ahsan Menswear ‘Samjhota’ The UK- Based designer showcased his collection for the final day of BCW 2017. The solid colour palette was the only good thing about the collection because the designs and work on the ensembles was not interesting. The collection showcased sherwanis, short coats, straight pants and heavily embroidered jackets. Heavily Accessorised Bridals Another collection that made it to our list was Umsha by Uzma Babar. Now we are in a dilemma if it was the heavy accessories adorned by the models or the ensembles. The brides should stand out, but not as much that it would hurt the eye. The bold colour palette for the collection ‘Forever’ in reds, bronze, gothic olive with heavy embellishments was seen on the ramp. Naushad Imdad Ahsan’s Bespoke Menswear 08 The actress Syra Shahroz show-stopped for the designer wearing a red choli and an orange lehenga, along with her Chalay Thay Saath co-star Kent S Leung.
