That road less travelled - the path that had grass previously untouched, and no footprints before me to guide my own tracks - was daunting, and honestly, scared the hell out of me. There was no financial security. No safety net. Nobody there to say ‘oh, don’t worry, we will sort you out if you lose your way’. In nerd terms, there was no Google Map for this journey.
