From Me
Welcome to GLOSS in April!
It’s particularly appropriate that the theme this month should be collaboration, as this issue has
involved the definition of that word on many levels. As many of our readers (flatteringly) noticed,
March GLOSS didn’t make an appearance. This was due to what can only be called perhaps the Ides
of March - or more accurately perhaps the ITs of March - hitting all and sundry with a palpable thump.
Technology may be our best friend, but it can also be our worst enemy when it comes to running an
online publication.
So I want to extend special thanks to all those involved with BOTH issues who have been patient and
accommodating. They have certainly summed up the spirit of collaboration, in terms of being willing
to adapt, assist, and to help out wherever possible. I would like to make special mention of our feature
article subjects, Rabia Siddique and Tracey Spicer, both of whom gave generously of their time and
attention.
We also have seen this month collaboration on an even larger scale, with the expansion of LBDGroup
across Australia to WA! This is massively exciting and I am thrilled to welcome our new Perth Founding
Members. The community of talented, innovative corporate and entrepreneurial success stories in the
West is going to grow very quickly and I can’t wait to introduce you to them.
This month is also personally extremely fulfilling for me, as I am able to share with you all an exclusive
extract from my book on commercial collaboration, From Me To We. What better issue to share it in
than this one?
Remember to - Connect~Inspire~Succeed - and collaborate.
There are so many amazing people out there to share your journey with.
