10 War of liberation and role of Super powers in the conflict During the war of liberation of East Pakistan two super powers in the world in the twentieth century were divided. In spite of hard hit factual report from East Pakistan by ConsulGeneral of the United States of America, Archer Blood from Dacca on the genocidal attacks on the people of East Pakistan by Pakistan army President Richard Nixon and his National Security advisor Henry Kissinger showed lukewarm attitude.
