ello and welcome to our 7 th edition of Global Traveller. We have had
a fantastic year and are proud to be here, building relations with
you and sending so many of you off on sensational holidays.
I’ve been reflecting on some of our accomplishments over the last year
and thinking about our exciting future. Here are a few of things I’d
like to share with you…
• Our Winscombe branch, run by Charlotte, celebrated its first
anniversary. The village, I now call home, has been so welcoming.
• Our Clevedon branch, run by Geoff, is now proudly sponsoring Clevedon
Girls United Football Club. Repeat business now accounts for 80% of Clevedon’s activity.
• We have attended more community events than ever before, including Weston air show, local
school fetes, Police Headquarters fun day, Wedding Fairs, Christmas Light switch on and
hosted coffee mornings and supplier presentations.
• We launched a newly designed website. Functions include customer reviews, brochure
downloads and newsletter archives. You can request holiday quotes from either branch,
read travel blogs and see latest Facebook and Twitter posts. Visit globalindependenttravel.com
• Our Travel Specialists have attended many educational trips including Canada, Chicago,
Bahamas, Florida, The Fjords & Dubai to name a few. Providing valuable first-hand product
knowledge. Read our reviews on our website.
• There is a new monthly Global Traveller e-newsletter. Sign up to receive the latest travel deals,
competitions, special events and keep up to date with travel news, recipes and holiday tips!
• We have won an award!… In October Clevedon was named Regional US Airtours ‘top agent’
Time flies when you’re having fun!
Partial to a holiday or two, I managed to squeeze in a few of my own last year… everyone deserves a
break! I experienced family-friendly Ibiza, travelled across Canada, sought winter sun in Tenerife
and Lanzarote and visited the beautiful Italian island of Sardinia.
Unfortunately, holidaying is now on hold whilst I await the arrival of baby number two. But, please feel
free to make me jealous, by popping in and sharing your travel stories. I never tire of hearing them.
I will be in the Clevedon branch on Mondays and Saturdays and in Winscombe on Wednesdays
in January. I am also easily reachable via email should you need me at [email protected]

The brochure pages that follow are designed to help you get to k now us better and introduce you to
some of the suppliers and tour operators we work with. Don’t forget our ‘refer a friend’ scheme and to
write your holiday reviews on our website. We also offer special wedding and honeymoon services and
out of hour appointments.
