Lapland
A
trip to Lapland is a
magical experience
for all the family.
Lapland is really about
two things, meeting
Santa and exploring the
Winter Wonderland.
From Husky dog sleigh rides,
snowmobiling or chasing the
Northern Lights, it’s all there.
The scenery is wonderful with
snow on the trees, icy lakes
and even a famous snow
village made from snow and
ice, which melts away when
the weather warms up.
Last year I took my two boys
which was an experience we
will never forget. I love the
magic of Christmas, inches
of real snow, tobogganing
and snowball fighting. A visit
to Santa in the enchanted
forest in his own home, the
boys faces were priceless.
Interesting Fact
Did you know Lapland
is famous for its cheese.
Squeaky cheese - so called
because of the noise it makes
when you chew it.
Top Tip
I would recommend layers,
two pairs of gloves at least.
Wear one under the other
if you can. Also try all the
activities they are fun even
for the big kids.
Recommendation
Although this day trip was a
once in a lifetime experience
which I will never forget if
budget allows then I would
recommend Transun 3 night
sleigh bells ringing itinerary.
