John is actively involved in humanitarian, philanthropic,
and public health efforts. He has always wanted to
pay back to the society and his profession. In 2019, he
started a scholarship and a bursary under the Singapore
Institute of Technology. As part of his seless service
to humanity, he volunteered at the worker’s dormitory
during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
In his earlier years, John received Singapore
government’s scholarship – Ministry of Health’s
Healthcare Management Development rogram (HMD)
award in 2012 to do the certification in Orthopedic
Manual Therapy from Manual Concepts at Curtin University,
Australia.
He was the member of the task force – Singapore
Ministry of Health’s Orthopedic Workgroup (2014) and
selected for the ational Healthcare roup’s potential
leadership program.
Before joining Rapid Physiocare, John worked as
the Head of ehab services at a private hospital and
was instrumental in establishing the rehabilitation
department. He has worked alongside many reputed
orthopedists and surgeons in the city for the rehabilitation
of joint injuries. He takes pride in being one of
the pioneers to start primary physiotherapy at polyclinics
in Singapore. John’s great sense of humor to lighten
and strengthen patients while they are feeling weak and
worried keeps him apart from other physiotherapists.
John’s dream of opening the clinic was conceived
when he realized that continuity of care is sometimes
compromised when working in large organizations.
He’s committed to providing treatments for his patients
continuously. This, coupled with his love to work in the
community, made him establish a clinic of his own where
he can provide the best quality care without obstruction.
He always had the vision to build the best ehab Team,
which provides care for the young and old.
