MAP ADVENTURES DIY FUN
Maps help children understand their place in the world . It ’ s important to deepen and expand children ’ s knowledge of where on earth species live , giving children a better understanding of their place on earth in relation to other species , landscapes and regions . Maps show us how we are all connected .
Each month we create an interactive art project using endangered species illustrations , designed by creator Rebecca Lane . Simply print the downloads , cut out and let your child use them to locate Argentina on the map . You can let your child tape the illustrations to the map for a daily visual of where Argentina is located globally , as well as the endangered animals that live there .
As a bonus , we ’ ve included a digital download of an 11x14 map of Argentina where you can research and add cities and landmarks , or use it as an art project with the endangered animal download .
As months pass , we suggest you keep the illustrations on the map so your family can see all the places they ’ ve studied and traveled to and the endangered species they ’ ve learned about . As the map fills , a sense of connection and responsibility will grow .
