CROSSROADS 2016 - an interschool cultural jamboree
The interschool fest hosted by GPS , CROSSROADS 2016 with about 250 participants from 9 schools in Kochi , was inaugurated in August by veteran mimicry artist , stand-up comedian , television host and Malayalam film actor , Mr . Ramesh Pisharody . The Choice School , Tripunithura emerged the Champions . The colourful fiesta concluded with prizes being distributed by noted music director and playback singer , Mr . Alphons Joseph .
Proud to be Indian
The highlight of the Independence Day celebrations this year was the unique skit on the Freedom struggle and the tableau on Make in India followed by Inter House Patriotic Song , Tableau and Extempore competitions .
Saluting our Soldiers
Messages of love and gratitude were sent to the brave Jawans of India in August to commemorate the 70th year of Independence .
Chess Bee Inspired
GPS Chess team participated in the 11th All Kerala Inter School Open Chess Tournament conducted by Bhavans Varuna Vidyalaya , Thrikkakara in July earning a total points tally of 50.5 .
A Spelling Bee Competition was organized in association with Hope Foundation for the students of grade 1-11 in August .
