Almost 25 year ago a first visit to New Zealand created the name of our company , The Green Spot . Tucked away in the southwestern Pacific Ocean , the three main islands appeared out of the blue as a beautiful green dot . Kevin Roberts Chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi described New Zealand as “ an adventurous , innovative , creative nation because it exists on the extreme edge of Western Civilization ”
New Zealand has grown over those years as a destination that offers innovative , natural experiences . Giving its visitors a sense of discovery and adventure . New Zealand invented the jet boat taking nature lovers or thrill seekers to inaccessible places . Helicopters drop off people on top of glaciers , at remote glamping ( luxury tenting ) sites or Hobbit movie locations for those adventurous , romantic or movie mad travellers . The first inhabitants of New Zealand , Maori called their land Aotearoa , Land of the long white cloud . Their contribution to tourism is significant and by sharing their stories and land , they want to keep New Zealand green and prosperous for many generations to enjoy . New Zealand people are friendly , open , resourceful and fresh thinkers . Being bi-cultural , they are young , energetic and creative . Surrounded by water the islands are covered in native forest and dotted with snow-capped mountains . Just over 4 million people live here therefore your clients never feel crowded . New Zealand is not isolated or unsophisticated , and the locals , called kiwis genuinely make you feel welcome .
