MARCH IIRC MEETINGS CGS MEDICARE » Quality Payment Program (QPP) Eligibility For 2017, the QPP applies to providers who are in an Advanced APM or providers who bill Medicare more than $30,000 a year AND provide care for more than 100 Medicare patients a year (both minimum billing and the num- ber of patients must be met to be in the program). CGS will be sending letters to each individual Tax ID number that will identify which NPI’s in their group are eligible to report in the MIPS program or APM and will be subject to a potential payment increase or decrease on 2019 Medicare payments. UNITED HEALTHCARE » Provider Expo June 8 United Healthcare will host a Provider Expo on June 8 at the Kentucky Country Day School in Louisville. This is a free event open to all providers, practice managers and office staff throughout Kentucky. GLMS staff will be one of the many exhibitors participating in the provider expo. You can also expect seminars on timely topics from United Healthcare. Invitations will be sent to providers in the near future. » HEDIS Season is Underway United Healthcare is working with 3 organizations including Advantmed, Altegra Health and BACTES Imaging Solutions to coordinate collection of HEDIS data. Providers are required to submit the information in accordance with their contract. There does not have to be a separate HIPAA release. Find
