E
arlier this year, Stones Casino Group (SCG) hosted the
inaugural “Big 24 Hour Giveback”, a 24-hour event
to raise critically-needed funds for Chula Vista-based
South Bay Community Services (SBCS). For over 40
years, SBCS has supported families and children facing
domestic violence and abuse, providing solutions that
help end the cycle of abuse.
Over the course of the 24-hour event, SCG pledged a $100 donation for
each guest that walked through the door, up to $75,000. At the close
of the event, SBCS received a $75,000 check from SCG to fund vital
community services.
“We are proud to have partnered with South Bay Community Services on
this exciting inaugural event,” Stones Casino Group Owner Ryan Stone
shared with Giving Back Magazine. “It is our honor to stand alongside the
Chula Vista community in giving back to an organization that works tirelessly
to transform lives across San Diego.”
