Kurt was recently reelected as the President of
the business counsel in Tijuana to develop the
economy and public security. Kurt shared with
Giving Back Magazine, “It is a great honor and
a huge responsibility to know that the leaders
of 16 organizations that make up the Consejo
Coordinador Empresarial have chosen me to
represent them for a second consecutive year.”
In terms of business, for Honold it is essential
to promote new business vocations and
help develop emerging industry clusters.
The strengthening of the binational mega
commercial region is fundamental to him and
the business council.
Kurt Honold has had the opportunity to serve
Tijuana since 2007, starting with his years as
Mayor and now with the Consejo Coordinador
Empresarial. But he believes everyone can help
support the city they love; even small efforts
and volunteering can help the common good.
Kurt’s heart is with his city and he always works
to develop collaboration between industry,
government and the citizens.
