We are delighted to be Co-Chairing the San Diego Center for Children’s
annual gala this year - the 131st Anniversary Celebration, RISE UP! Please
mark your calendars for this very special evening under the stars,
Saturday, June 9 at Humphreys by the Bay. We are honored to present
singer and songwriter from San Diego, Andra Day, to give a very special
performance featuring her signature song and hit single, Rise Up. SDG&E
will be the recipient of our 2018 PATH Award, honoring a distinguished
Partner in Achieving Transformation and Hope.
The San Diego Center for Children provides services to children and
families struggling with mental, emotional and behavioral health
challenges, and is the oldest children’s nonprofit in San Diego. Funds
raised will help the Center provide therapeutic, educational, foster care
and transition age services to children and families across the region.
We are all thrilled to be at this picturesque venue with a world-class
entertainer and hope to see you there!

Founded in 1887, the San Diego Center for Children is the oldest children's 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the region accredited by The Joint
Commission for its excellence in quality of care. The Center provides evidence-based therapeutic, educational, foster care and
transition age services to children and families struggling with mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. Today, within eight locations
