On behalf of the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, we are honored to
invite you to attend our seventh annual Chefs, Cork & Craft Gala. This year’s
gala theme, A Seaside Soirée, will celebrate our region’s relationship with the
coast and sea thanks to our community’s proximity to Southern California’s
sun-kissed golden shores.
Taking place at the San Diego Food
Bank’s 90,000-square-foot facility,
this year’s gala will transform this
working warehouse into a stunning
dinner venue for our 550+ gala guests.
Guests will enjoy beachside décor
with soft natural hues and light earth
tones coupled with pastel shades that
complement the natural beauty of the
shoreline. Ornamentation will include
the natural landscape elements of
seashells, sand, and stars.
Every year, our gala features more
than 30 volunteer chefs from
renowned hotels, restaurants, and
organizations from across the county.
All participating chefs donate their
time, talent, and food for the evening’s
reception and dinner. Each table of
10 guests will be assigned their own
personal chef for the evening who
will prepare an amazing multi-course
dinner which adds an exciting element
to the night’s proceedings.
The Food Bank’s gala is an entertaining
event for a very important cause as it
honors the Food Bank and its mission
providing food assistance to children,
families, and seniors facing food
insecurity in our community.

Funds raised from the gala will
support the Food Bank’s vital hunger-
relief programs including programs
that provide food assistance to our
community’s youth including students
from low-income homes attending
elementary schools, junior highs,
high schools, and colleges in
San Diego County.
The evening will include exciting
live musical acts during the cocktail
reception and after the dinner program,
amazing silent and live auction
items, and the gala’s now famous
cocktail lounge in the Food Bank’s
48,000-cubic-foot refrigeration unit.
We hope you will join us for a
