s part of the Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society’s
Man & Woman of the Year
philanthropic competition,
Dr. Irene May-Ling Hutchins,
hematologist and oncologist, and her
patient, Steve Valentine have formed the
Dancers vs Cancer Team. Their team’s
goal is to raise as much funds as possible,
and in addition to a series of receptions
throughout San Diego and Los Angeles,
the highlight of the campaign was their
Champion Ballroom Dance fundraiser that
was held at Mary Murphy’s Champion
Ballroom Academy.

omo parte de la competencia
filantrópica Man & Woman of the
Year de la Sociedad Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society´s, la Dra. Irene
May-Ling Hutchins, hematóloga y
oncóloga, junto a su paciente Steve Valentine,
formaron el equipo de baile Dancers vs. Cancer.
El objetivo de su equipo es el de recaudar la
mayor cantidad de fondos posibles durante una
serie de eventos realizados a lo largo y ancho
de San Diego y Los Ángeles. Lo más destacado
de su campaña fue su baile Champion Ballroom,
evento para recaudar fondos realizado en la Mary
Murphy´s Ballroom Academy.
