To help sufferers of FASD, Dr. Kenneth Lyons
Jones leads research and diagnosis efforts into
FASD at Rady Children’s Hospital as well as
administers life-changing treatment programs
for children. One such program is the Math
Interactive Learning Experience (MILE) an
evidence-based math intervention program that
teaches children with FASD how to focus and
organize their thoughts, decrease impulsive
responding and increase positive behavior in the
classroom and beyond.
At Hats Off to Children, guests will have the
opportunity to take an active role in helping
support these programs and improve the lives of
children with FASD. The luxurious event also has
Steve and Judy Rowles, donors
representing Morrison Foerster
an exciting schedule of social activities planned.
Following a short program, a delicious lunch will
be served, with a fashion show hosted by TRE Boutique and Hats by Aimee Fuller
which will feature upcoming spring designs. Additionally, shopping at TRE following
the event will benefit FASD, as TRE will donate back a percentage of sales. Net
proceeds from ticket sales and the auction will also support the MILE program and
other mental health support services for families of children with FASD.
