ady Children’s Auxiliary-Del Mar Unit is hosting its annual Hats Off to Children fundraising event
on Thursday, April 4 at Cucina Enoteca in the Del Mar Flower Hill Promenade. The event will
unite community members in an effort to help raise awareness and funds for children with Fetal
Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). The condition can lead to a wide variety of learning and
behavioral issues that are often misdiagnosed as ADHD or Autism. Once a child develops FASD,
it is a lifelong, incurable condition.
