Poem

What is home?

Do you find home in the places you go?

The things you read?

Or is home only an idea that everyone seems to agree with?

A place, in a nonexistent universe, full of indecisive people.

A place where it seems as though nothing could touch you, except that small space of emptiness just outside your door.

That is home.

Or is home simply found within the people who accompany you there?

Maybe home is just a way for us to feel comfort when everything else in the world is out to take that precious gift away from our longing souls.

Where do you end up when you go home?

Is it in someone’s arms, or simply the place you live?

Is home in the water you drink, or the food you eat,

Or is it just the place you stay that makes it a home.

No matter how you define it, home is where your journey begins.

Where do you end up when you go home?

Where do you end up when you go home?
