People experience their own kind of home. Where I personally feel most at home is when I am at my local youth group on a Wednesday night. We are a family. I walk in and am immediately greeted by people who intentionally pour love into my life. I see people praying for each other and being sincere in conversation, people who are so selfless and that they will go the extra mile to make you feel unique and wanted. I won’t find empty small talk here. There is no wasting of time in mundane chitchat. They are the kind of people that make you want to open up, share your struggles, desires, hopes, and fears. One thing I am convinced of is that the feeling of home is where you feel loved and accepted despite your imperfections. This is a place where I find that love and feel no judgment.

Home is where you are most comfortable, where you can be yourself. This is my home.
