Mi Casa, Su Mundo Life as a Nomadic Family Most GGIs have probably heard concerned friends and family echo that now-familiar sentiment: ‘Travel is great, but you will settle down at some point . . . won’t you?’ You may even think it is best to feed your severe wanderlust while you can because, at some point, everyone settles down. But what if we told you settling down is only one of the many things you can do? That you can have a family and still feed your travel addiction? That there is actually a term for families who move regularly and never stay put? GGI interviewed self-styled ‘nomadic families’ who have done just that: packed it (or sold it) all and started countryhopping with children in tow, often with nothing more than a sense of adventure and a few belongings.
