The founders of Ladyfest Shanghai
have worked hard for three years
now to cultivate a community-based
event dedicated to the core values of freedom of expression and
femininity. Each of its co-founders
speaks so openly to one another,
sharing stories of when they first
met and exchanging glances of
respect and admiration. These are
principles and actions that women
everywhere should experience,
especially as GGIs in a new city.
Women need a tribe and I was
fortunate enough to be in the
presence of women who created
their own.
