Designs carefully put together specifically for children
with tactile defensiveness and sensory sensitivities
Imagine feeling so distressed and uncomfortable from the tags, seams or
waistband of your clothes that it felt like nails being dragged across a
chalkboard. For children who are tactile defensive this is often a distressing,
daily reality. Children on the autism spectrum in particular may experience
tactile defensiveness, feeling negative and out of proportion reactions to
stimuli that most people would not find painful.
