ON BEING A THIRD
CULTURE KID
My parents are both Greek but I was
born in Australia. For most of my life
we lived between those two
countries. Over the years they have
both become equally home. Being
brought up in one of the oldest and
one of the newest cultures in the
world made for a very diverse and
inspiring upbringing.
It is what made me want to know
more. If these worlds were so different
but equally wonderful, what else is out
there that I haven’t discovered yet?
One day I decided to find out.
