Food as a source of entertainment ?
Downtown Gilroy is looking better and better . The longterm hangouts , like Sue ’ s Coffee Roasting , Scotty ’ s , Carnitas Michoacan , OD ’ s , and Los Pericos , are alive and well . Relative newcomers like Garlic City Café , Lizarran and Station 55 get better each day . We are very happy to welcome The Milias Restaurant . The food is great ; the atmosphere is historic and comfortable ; the bar is an old friend and the proprietors Adam Sanchez and Ann Ybarra have done it right . You ’ ve gotta love the tag line “ Take a step back and dine .”
