Brandon , that she would soon be a grandmother . It is now her passion and she enjoys doing it so much that she is thinking of making the products of her newfound talent available to friends and may even sell a few .
Downstairs , the game room is an entertainer ’ s dream . It features a wine cellar with chalkboard paint on its back wall , a pool table , and a half-bath with an onyx sink . Stools line a bar that hosts a sink and mini refrigerator . Leather easy chairs and a ping pong table complete the room . A large circular staircase , designed and installed by the Kahlenberg ’ s , provides access to the pool and Jacuzzi . Stone , dug out to make room for the basement , was used to make the stone columns throughout the home as well as the retaining walls outside .
The backyard boasts stunning views and a covered patio provides shelter for a pizza oven . A path leads to the lawn area , a vegetable garden and a covered patio
with three sitting areas ; one has a fireplace and outdoor chandelier .
Kathy and Tim occupy the home with their son Timothy ( 18 ) and Golden Retriever , Hunter . They have two other grown children ; Brandon Bidwell who lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and new baby , and daughter , Brittany who lives in Houston . Tim is semi-retired from a career as a CFO of medical services start-ups . He still does some consulting in that field but enjoys spending his time playing tennis and working out at Gold ’ s Gym with Kathy . For over 12 years , Kathy has been a member of the Morgan Hill Giving Circle . The group meets monthly , identifies a need in the community and gathers monies amongst themselves to support an organization in need . The couple , who previously lived in Morgan Hill , have been members of the South Valley Community Church since 2006 .
