DENTAL CENTRE OF THE YEAR IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC

PRISTINE DENTAL CENTRE
The most important thing to the team at Pristine is how they think about people , how they think about their duty to their patients , and how they would make use of all the knowledge and skill they have in dentistry to make people ’ s lives better for the long term . These series of thoughts are encapsulated in their motto “ Here to Serve .”
A philosophy of service is a complex , multidimensional concept to embrace and even more challenging to execute . The key , as always in any kind of service , is people . Pristine is truly glad and fortunate to have a group of people who have come to believe passionately in this concept of service — a diverse group of people with different backgrounds , experience , and expertise who have learned to complement each other ’ s strengths and support each other when needed in the pursuit of extraordinary service to others .
This took a lot of time , 21 years of Pristine ’ s existence , to achieve this family unity within . It is only with this core strength that they can then turn all their ability confidently to the care of their patients . Not ever needing to look behind their shoulders , each member of Pristine is clear in their aim to serve patients and serve them well .
When one thinks about their own health and entrusts a healthcare professional to care for them , this is what is actually being asked :
Dr Suresh Nair
“ Please do all you can with your knowledge , skill , and technology to let me know if I am healthy .”
“ Please do all you can with all your knowledge and ability and technology to cure or to alleviate all that is not well within me .”
“ Please do all you can to anticipate what I as a unique individual before you may have to face in the future and advise and monitor me accordingly so that together we can keep me as healthy as possible for as long as possible .”
The team at Pristine has worked very hard over the years to be able to answer these important questions the best they can . It has developed its own methods of examining , decision making , monitoring , and advising patients with their long-term health in mind . It recognises that every person and every case is unique and strives to approach each one anew without trying to box them in or assign them into convenient , standard solutions . This is time consuming and needs remarkable teamwork with always the thought that the solution must meet the need of that person at that particular time .
Quality healthcare can only be achieved when there is enough time to discover who you are treating , what he or she truly needs , and what they want in the long term . The team must make that time to know the person , make the time to diagnose and understand the problem and its impact on the person , make the time to equip the person with the information to enable him / her to make a decision for themselves , and make the time to deliver the care required with the best possible outcome you can achieve . Last but not least is to make the time to consider the long-term health of the person and what can be done to record and monitor the changes over time in order to advise and treat him / her accordingly . Achieving this quality is an ongoing endeavour — through training the mind , upgrading skills and knowledge , improving methods and technology , and always improving the strength of the team .
