Founded in 1997 , Dr Ko Skin Specialist Centre stands among the pioneers in the field of dermatology and medical aesthetics in Malaysia .
The first clinic opened in Klang on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur after Dato ’ Dr Ko Chung Beng returned to Malaysia after years of working in the United Kingdom . He had initially settled into a role heading the dermatology department at Seremban Hospital in 1994 , but three years later gave in to the attraction of opening his own private practice .
Ko Skin is dedicated to the pursuit of self-enhancement through medical and cosmetic dermatology , aesthetic procedures , and laser treatments . It strives to provide advanced , proven technologies and innovative cosmetic procedures so that patients will always be assured of quality service from registered medical practitioners .
Over the years , the group has grown and matured to become Malaysia ’ s largest dermatology , laser , and medical aesthetic clinic and was even recognised as such by the Malaysia Book of Records .

In addition to its clinical facilities at more than 35 locations in Malaysia , in 2020 Ko Skin has also opened its first skincare retail store , Dr Ko Dermaceutical , located inside Sunway Pyramid Mall . Dr Ko Dermaceutical exclusively showcases its four in-house ranges of skincare , namely Dermax
Clinicare , Ko Dermacare , THREE Series and Ko Perfect . These products are formulated to combat signs of ageing , acne , and other skin problems .
Its Dermax Clinicare range contains natural botanical extracts and aims to prevent acne by removing impurities , refining open pores , and healing the skin .
The goal of the KO Dermacare line , meanwhile , is to bring about fair and flawless skin . It speeds up recovery , protects the skin from sun exposure , and combats dullness , pigmentation , and dehydration while reversing signs of ageing .
