PERIODIC NEWSLETTER FOR GIRLGUIDING ESSEX WEST
ounty Commissioner Chris Skinner has been busy
lately, most recently welcoming Jack Petchey Award
winners and their families to the Queens Theatre,
Hornchurch.
The evening was another glittering event which showcased
the excellent work done by Leaders and girls in the County,
supported by the Jack Petchey Foundation.
Entertainment was provided by Florence Cowley, Emily
Milroy, Jade Darby and Maddie Bray.

pages 4 and 5 of this newsletter there are group pictures of the
winners in each Division.

Queen’s Guide Awards presented to Essex West Leaders
County Commissioner Chris Skinner went along to an evening outdoor session at The Pines,
Brentwood, for the 1st Shenfield Guides to present a Queen’s Guide Award to Leader Claire
Coppin recently. Claire got a rousing cheer from the Guides as the award was handed over.
In another ceremony at the Houses of Parliament Hornchurch East Leader Emma-Jane
Hampsheir-Gill received her award from Deputy Chief Guide Sally Illsley.
