Georgia Professional Association of Community Supervision Conference

The annual summer GPACS conference provided opportunities for engagement with the Department of Community Supervision.

State Board of Pardons and Paroles employees are trained to administer first aid, CPR and use an AED in order to be prepared to save a life!

"As a public safety agency it is training we're glad to be able to provide our employees that could benefit someone in need. As state employees I believe it's our responsibility to be able serve the public in this manner,” said Chris Barnett, Executive Director of the Parole Board.

Human Resources Director, Eris McKennon, expressed her gratitude for the new training by saying, "I really enjoyed this training more so than in the past. I feel extremely comfortable and confident now to where if I were to be in a situation where I would need to use CPR or first aid, I would know how."
