AARP Smart Driver
Ages 50+

AARP Smart Driver is the nation's first and
largest driver safety course designed especially
for drivers age 50 and above. The course covers
defensive driving techniques and provides tips
for adjusting to the normal changes in vision,
hearing, and reaction time associated with
aging. Participants will learn about current rules
of the road and how to operate their vehicles
more safely in today's increasingly challenging
driving environment. There is no test or
examination conducted during the course.
Please register in advance to reserve your seat. Participants
55 and older qualify for the mandatory insurance discount
in IL. Fee includes a guidebook $15 for AARP members and
$20 for non-members, payable to instructor on the first day
