Playhouse 38 Mini-Musical Theatre Camp Ages 5-10 5 Classes Our most popular musical theatre class is now offered in a 5-day half-day camp! This camp teaches the youngest of actors how to get under the lights and perform on a real stage. This class will teach the students the basics of acting and will help them to become confident on stage. Children will develop their performance skills through song, dance and movement. Please note: please wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes. Parents are invited to the final class performance. Chris is really spooked because he’s certain he saw a werewolf in his neighborhood... wearing a bowling shirt. His pals don’t believe him at first, but when their teacher walks in wearing the same shirt and looking a bit worse for wear, the kids begin to suspect Chris is right! Determined to discover the truth, the young teens sneak into their teacher’s home, and just as expected, the werewolf is there! Still... not all is as it seems. Darius Townes “I grew a lot as an actor, singer, and even improved my dancing ability. My favorite part about my private lessons were the discussions we had about the character excerpt I read for my audition. These helped my acting ability by allowing myself to deeply understand and connect with the character, rather than only reading their lines.” Aly Fogel “Like” Playhouse38 today! 24 Geneva Park District “My favorite part of private lessons was the one on one attention that I didn’t get from my acting classes. In a class, you don’t get to choose your own material or get the same kind of individualized feedback that you can get from private lessons. I prepared the monologue with Ms. Lisa and ended up doing really well at my audition. Not only did I get the part I wanted, but my director said as soon as she saw my monologue she knew she wanted to cast me as the role. I couldn’t have done it without her help!” | Winter 2018 | 630-232-4542 | genevaparks.org | Stay Connected!
