Benefits of Tennis
Tennis players scored higher in vigor, optimism and self-esteem while scoring lower in
depression, anger, confusion, anxiety and tension than other athletes and non-athletes according to
Dr. Joan Finn and colleagues at Southern Connecticut State University.
The junior program includes different ability classes, starting with Red Ball 1 and advancing to our Jr. Development groups. The program aims to
provide a structured and fun framework for learning with the goal of fostering a lasting enjoyment of the game of tennis and willingness and desire
to improve. USTA 10 and UnderTennis format will be used at certain levels. Unsure about the weather? Call the weather hotline at (630) 232-7868.
