“I grew a lot as an actor, singer, and even
improved my dancing ability.”
“My favorite part about my private lessons
were the discussions we had about the
character excerpt I read for my audition.
These helped my acting ability by allowing
myself to deeply understand and
connect with the character, rather than
only reading their lines.”
This year as a freshman, Darius was cast
in the male ensemble for the production of
Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical.
Aly Fogel
“My favorite part of private lessons was the
one on one attention that I didn’t get from
my acting classes. In a class, you don’t get to
choose your own material or get the same
kind of individualized feedback that you can
get from private lessons.
“I prepared the monologue with Ms. Lisa
and ended up doing really well at my
audition. Not only did I get the part
I wanted, but my director said as soon as
she saw my monologue she knew she
wanted to cast me as the role. I couldn’t
have done it without her help!”
