Andersonville
The Swedish American Museum is
located in Andersonville, a traditionally
Swedish area of Chicago’s north
side. Start with a docent-led tour
of The Dream of America: Swedish
Immigration to Chicago exhibit. There
is time to explore the area on your own
to sample Swedish food and browse
the local shops. End our day with a
walking tour of the neighborhood.
Trip includes tours and transportation.

It’s Lilac Time
Lilacia Park is a 8.5 acre histroic park
that features 700 lilacs and 25,000
tulips. Learn what makes it so special on
this tour by a guide from the Lombard
Historical Society. Time is scheduled
for lunch and shopping on your own.
Trip includes tour and transportation.
Be prepared to do a fair amount of

Motown and More
Paula Williams shares the stage with
artist Kevin Catchings making Motown
twice as entertaining and twice as
much fun. Enjoy them in action while
singing and dancing to your favorite
hits. Before the show, enjoy White
Fence Farm’s famous four piece chicken
dinner, baked potato, coleslaw, pickled
beets, kidney bean salad, cottage
cheese, corn fritters and vanilla ice
cream for dessert. Trip includes lunch,

West Side Story
Enjoy this high-energy musical
masterpiece! Tony and Maria are two
wide-eyed teenagers from opposing
gangs who fall in love. Their songs
illuminate every scene and permeate
our culture. Please note: meet at the Geneva
Train Station to catch the 10:30 am train (ticket on
your own) into the Ogilvie Center in Chicago. Once
there, enjoy lunch on your own. Show starts at 1:30
pm and is three hours. Trip includes show

Sanfilippo Estate
Start the day with lunch at Onion Pub.
Then prepare to be amazed by the
Place de la Musique, the Sanfilippo
Mansion. It takes a three hour tour to
see this multi-million dollar estate.
Enjoy the opulence of this magnificent
modern palace filled to the brim with
memories of yesteryear. Trip includes

Chicago Botanic Garden
The Botanic Garden opened more
than 40 years ago as a beautiful place
to visit, and it has matured into one of
the world’s great living museums and
conservation science centers. Every
year, more than one million people visit
the 27 gardens and four natural areas,
uniquely situated on 385 acres on and
around nine islands, with six miles of
lake shoreline. The Garden also has a
renowned Bonsai Collection. Lunch is
on your own at the Garden View Cafe.
