Playhouse 38 Company Based on the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture and the Book by William Steig Book and Lyrics by David Lindsay-Abaire; Music by Jeanine Tesori Originally produced on Broadway by DreamWorks Theatricals and Neal Street Productions Directed by Meredith Vandre Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical Jr., based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek Jr. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family. Rehearsals Begin the week of June 4 and are scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays - (Cast 1: 5:00-6:30pm; Cast 2: 7:00-8:30pm) and Saturdays- (Cast 1: 9:00-11:00am; Cast 2: 11:00am-1:00pm). YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (Revised) is a fresh approach to the all-time 1967 classic, based on the beloved comic strip by Charles Schultz. Sally Brown joins Charlie Brown, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder, and Snoopy in this charming revue of vignettes and songs.
