Build a Micro PC and Game

We’ve grown up playing them, now you can
actually build and design your very own PC
game! Using the unique and versatile Raspberry
Pi programming software, you’ll build your
personal game system from motherboard to
the final boss level, assembling and adding
components until it is exactly the way you want
it. The sky is the limit in this fun class and is the
perfect introduction into programming and

Household Robots

Build your very own “robot” from the household
items collecting dust in your home. These cute
little scrap robots make a creative rainy day
project for children. You can also collect parts
for your purely decorative robot at thrift stores
and yard sales. Old kitchen gadgets, radios and
camera parts can all be turned into robot parts.
Use glue and wire for assembly, and soon you’ll
have an army of friendly robots ready to decorate

Coding Minecraft

In this course, you will be able to create your
own unique MineCraft worlds from materials
you mine from the ground. Be the programmer,
game designer, architect, and artist in this
exciting course. We will learn to teleport, build a
lava tower, create a detailed castle instantly, and
make a light-up dance floor, turn whatever you
touch to gold, and sooo much more. Whether
you are new to coding or have prior experience,
this course will be sure to get your creativity

STEM LEGO Robotics Summer Camp
Ages 6-14

Robotics, Engineering, and coding! Each
day students will work on a different STEM
discipline, including building and programming
robots, building engineering models, and
programming interactive stories, games and
animations. Returning students will continue
in their education in each of these unique fields
of learning. Students should bring a snack or a
packed lunch each day of camp.

Show off your talent!
3D Video Game Design
Ages 8-12

Learn to create 3D games and challenge your
friends. We will be creating games for the PC
version of Kodu, Microsoft’s award-winning
game design platform. Students will learn
the art of rapid game design and develop an
understanding of underlying game mechanics.
Students can choose from 20 different game
characters including flying saucers, submarines,
and a Pac-Man-like Kodu character then use
an interactive terrain editor, a bridge and path
builder, and other tools to create their 3D game
world. Students may work in teams of 2. Bring a
USB drive on the last day and bring home a copy

Movie Making 101
Ages 7-12

Using your own imagination, creativity, special
digital movie making cameras, and software,
you will create your very own Toy Story TM movie!
You will be part of a team of writers, directors
and producers and create your own story and
script, and film your own movie using Toy
Story TM characters. You will use graphic editing
techniques and stop motion animation, add
music and your own voices to make your movie
unique. You will then show your movie at a
private screening on the last day of class. All
students will be able to bring home their movie
on their flash drive after class is complete.
