Butterfly House Volunteers Needed
Butterfly House Volunteers:
• Make visitors feel welcome and ensure safe viewing for all our guests
• Volunteer for at least one 2-hour shift per month
• Educate our visitors about butterfly diversity and butterfly life cycles
• Are excited about sharing up-close encounters with butterflies emerging from
their chrysalises
• Love to interact with children and adults
• And, of course, make sure that the butterflies don’t get out!

Butterfly Release Party
Saturday, May 19 from 10:00 am - Noon
It’s butterfly time again at Peck Farm Park – and you can help! The first butterflies arrive on May 19 and they need your help to start the season in their
new home. Participants will be able to release a butterfly in the butterfly house, make a butterfly craft, enjoy a butterfly snack, and take a self-guided
butterfly hike. Pre-registration is recommended. Space is limited so sign up early to reserve your place at the party. Each participant who wishes to release a butterfly and take part in
other activities must register for a designated time-slot. Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. (TB/KB)
