Horsemanship and Science
Horsemanship for Kids
Ages 9-17
6 Classes
Learn all about the proper ways to groom,
tack and handle horses. In the saddle you
will learn the basics of riding at the walk and
trot. Lessons will be held in our indoor arena
during inclement weather. First day of class is
orientation and groundwork. Please note: riders
should wear jeans or Jodhpur pants and hard soled riding or
hiking boots with a small, low heel. Bring an approved riding
helmet or bicycle helmet. Make up class held at the end of

galaxies, and other heavenly bodies as you
make models, conduct experiments, observe
demonstrations, play games, create arts and

look at how science plays a part in making bath

The Engineering and Science of
Water Parks
Ages 7-13

A lot of science goes into providing a safe trip
down those tubes. Learn the secrets behind
your favorite waterpark rides and slides.
Children may get a bit wet as they get hands
on with tubes, pumps, sprayers and other tools
used in the waterpark industry. Please note: a
concession style themed snack will be offered during class.
Participants will also receive a free one-day pass to the

Thrills and Chills of Ice Cream
Ages 5-12

Children will become experts in the beloved
frozen treat as they explore the chemical and
industrial engineering concepts of ice cream as
well as the evolution of this timeless treat. Dress
appropriately, as participants will get a chance
to make their very own batch of homemade
ice cream with an ice cream eating contest
to follow. Plenty of tastings and a themed

Summer Slimeology Lab
Ages 6-12

Have the slime of your life with summer
themed slime concepts! Make 2 types of gooey
slime and customize it at the concoction center
to please your senses. Get crazy and dress
appropriately as we’ll be getting hands on with
goggles, test tubes, squirters, and more for this
extremely messy experience. A slimed theme
snack will be served. All kids go home with
