Benefits of Trips Traveling , even on day trips has both physical and social benefits .
Registration / Refund Policy :
Trips are geared toward adults unless otherwise noted . Deadlines are offered as a guideline . Children must be accompanied by an adult . Registration for trips is available in-person , by mail , fax or over the phone . Some trips offer online registration , however , trips that have multiple pricing options are not available for online registration . If you are unable to attend a trip you have registered for , please let us know as soon as possible . Refunds will be given if you find a replacement or a participant from the wait list can take that spot .

Transportation :
Several of our day trips include transportation . We are sorry , but door-to-door pick-up service is not available for our general and older adult trips or programs . The following service may be helpful if you live in Geneva : Ride in Kane : ( 630 ) 232-7494 .
Parking :
Parking for trips offered September-May is at Sunset Community Center , 710 Western Avenue . Parking is permitted just south of the railroad tracks . Enter lot and proceed to the west end of the lot . If necessary , you may wait inside the building . Parking for trips offered June-August is at Western Avenue School , located at 1500 Western Avenue in Geneva . The bus will pick you up there .

This award winning classic is filled with love and laughter . My Fair Lady is guaranteed to capture your heart . An all-star cast , plus the Lyric Opera Orchestra and Chorus , will charm you with favorite tunes including “ On the Street Where You Live ,” “ Get Me to the Church on Time ,” “ Wouldn ’ t It Be Loverly ?,” “ I ’ ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face ,” the delightful and infectious “ I Could Have Danced All Night ,” and more ! Please note : meet at the Geneva Train Station to catch the 10:30 a . m . train ( ticket on your own ) into the Ogilvie Center in Chicago . Once there , enjoy lunch on your own . You may wish to try the French Market under the train station . The Florian Bistro in the Lyric Opera House , does not take advance reservations . Let ’ s visit this holistic horse rescue program that has horses , a donkey and some ponies that are being cared for in a loving facility . The mission is ‘ People helping horses helping people .’ Enjoy spending time with the animals . Please note : if you wish , you may bring a donation of sweet potatoes , carrots , or virgin olive oil . Dress for the weather , mud walking boots recommended .
