Spike your Spring break with EVP Volleyball
Professionals. Here is your chance to freshen
up and learn the fundamentals and techniques
of volleyball. This 3 day camp will concentrate
on passing, setting, and spiking as well as lots
of game situation drills. The lesson plan is filled
with fun games and drills that help each student

Girls Middle School
Volleyball League
6th-8th Grade
Ages 8-10

10 Weeks
This league will emphasize on skill, teamwork,
and character development. Participants
will get a schedule at the beginning of
the season letting them know when they
practice and play. League will not meet on
Saturdays or Sundays. There will be an end
of season seeded tournament.
Teams will be mixed with
all grade levels. If needed
player assessments would
take place in late March.
Please note: players will NOT
meet 5 days a week and will
only practice 1.25 hours at a time.
Schedule will be provided at the beginning of the
season. Most common meeting dates will be Monday,
Tuesday, Thursday. Practices and games are held at
various District 304 Gymnasiums. (JH)

Softball Pitching Camp
Ages 8-12
1 Class
This beginning girls softball pitching
camp features, Kristie Speilman-Phillip, a
former Division I softball Pitcher from SIU-
Carbondale with 20 years of teaching/
coaching experience at all levels. She holds
a 42-0 high school record and went on to be
ranked 15th in the nation for lowest ERA, her
freshman year of college. In this camp, learn
proper pitching biomechanics and develop
skills to take your pitching to the next level.
Her background in physical therapy allows
her to coach athletes with proper techniques
that help to reduce potential injuries. This
camp will highlight pitching drills to perfect
the perfect circle, hip rotation, weight shift,
and leg drive. Pre- and post-stretches will be
reviewed. Pitchers will be provided a handout
on drills that were discussed during the camp.
Please note: every participant will need to bring their
own catcher; a parent is suggested.
