In this class we will focus on beginning
tumbling for cheerleading which will include
basic tumbling skills of forward/backward
rolls, cartwheels, round-offs and backbends.

Join the Geneva Angels Cheer and Poms Team.
They compete in scheduled meets for the
IPDGC Park District Conference from January -
April. Girls will be expected to attend practices
and scheduled meets. This is a year-long
commitment with additional fees required for
the program. Please Note: A Tumbling Class and Dance
Class are included in the fee. Open enrollment will be in August.

Beginning Baton Twirling introduces the new
baton twirling student to the fundamentals
of the sport and the building blocks for
harder, more complex routines performed
in competition. Students will learn correct
body positions and placement of the baton
while performing beginning twirls, rolls, and
tosses. Instructor: Susan Altman. (BK)
Let’s Cheer and Dance Poms! Baton Solo / Private Lessons
Calling all Cheerleaders and Dancers! This class
is perfect for new cheerleaders and dancers who
want to get a taste of both worlds. Through
stretches, structured activities, and group work
students will learn the basics of cheerleading
and dance pom. They will develop their social
and physical skills while having tons of fun! This class is for students who would like to
enter competition or pageants as a solo
participant. Students must be proficient
in “the basics” prior to being allowed to
take private lessons for 30 minutes. Please
note: instructor has limited availability for privates.
