Geneva Park District Fall 2018 Program Guide Fall 2018 | Page 84

Living Tree Program and Hawks Hollow Brick Pavers Donate a tree in the name of someone special or in honor of a special occasion. Trees will be planted in one of our beautiful parks. Extraordinary events including births, anniversaries, weddings, retirements, and graduations could be commemorated through the Geneva Park District’s Living Tree Program. Prices for the trees range from $225 to $300, and include planting and maintenance. Trees are planted in the spring and fall. Please note that arrangements must be made in February for March planting, or in August for September planting. For more information, please call Ken Kerfoot at 630-232-8670. Hawks Hollow Paver Program Foster a legacy of environmental education and create a lasting impression at the Hawks Hollow Nature Playground with the purchase of a round or rectangular paver. The Geneva Park District Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Pavers can be inscribed with an approved, personalized message that can include the names of loved-ones, businesses, and organizations, as well as important dates. Purchasing a paver supports the Geneva Park District Foundation and Peck Farm’s mission to cultivate environmental education. Funds generated will be used to offset annual maintenance costs, allowing children to experience the wonder of Hawks Hollow for years to come.
