This 30-minute, high intensity, metabolic conditioning workout utilizes a 3-2-1 interval approach to whole body circuit training (3 min. of strength, 2 min. of cardio, 1 min. of abs) with no rest. Instructor: M-Jessica Golden, W-Jen Leden In this specially designed Parkinson’s and Movement Disorder class, clients are encouraged to amplify their movements in several specific movement patterns to improve strength, endurance, balance, respiration, mobility/gait and trunk rotation. Exercises may be performed seated or standing. Agility gait exercises are also often included in the program to promote more high level balance training and reduce risk of falls. Our certified fitness instructors have participated in training from Northwestern Medicine to provide a safe and appropriate workout to participants.
