CHAPTER 1 – PREPARE FOR SUCCESS Have you ever wondered why you continuously fail to lose weight from diet plans that are actually known to be effective? While there obviously can be several reasons for this, here is the most probable one… You are not prepared! You might think this sounds bizarre, maybe even absurd, but you may think that telling yourself you're going to follow a certain plan is enough preparation… But is it? The reason adequate planning is so important is because of the fact that you need to stick to what you are doing. This consistency will come with nothing but motivation. Trust me when I say this… No matter how convinced and motivated you are to lose weight, once you start, it will start to become unimportant. All your "perfect" reasons will go down the drain and you will find yourself giving reasons for getting off your plan! Remember all those days when you delayed your diet to the next day because you had eaten one forbidden food item? This is exactly the lack of planning that we're talking about and we're going to make sure it does not hinder this plan! None of us likes to delve into theory; we all want to get straight to the action! Everyone has succeeded at some point in life and you can give testimony for the fact that it did not come without planning. This is why I am making sure that an adequate plan is the foundation of this plan. I won't guarantee the success of this plan unless you promise to give 100% motivation and dedication! Here are some steps we're going to follow and some preparation goals we're going to accomplish before mobbing onto the actual plan. Remember, this is an emotional process! Do you think that losing weight is all about physical issues? Think again! Weight loss is such an emotional process that you may be over thrown by the feelings involved in it! In fact, look at the very reasons that caused you to make this decision. Did you feel unconfident when hanging out with friends? Did you feel depressed about not being able to wear the clothes of your choice? Did you make preparations to ensure you didn't have to reveal your body on occasions… like beach parties? There you go! It all begins with emotional decisions! Therefore, be prepared to face frustration and anxiety. There're going to be many steps when you will feel that you can't go on. What you need during these points is to remind yourself of all the reasons you decided to lose weight. Fight through it and press on!
