ROB STASHIZ

13

The Beginning of an era, not just in Philadelphia, but in hip-hop in general. Setting himself apart from his City of Brotherly Love counterparts, Rob Stashiz has decided to take the artistic route to success, rather than gaining notoriety as simply a battle rapper. After going through hardships that most will never experience (such as a fight with cancer in his teen years), Rob Stashiz has been able to channel his emotions to create some of the most profound music to hit Philly’s underground scene in a long time. A true master of his craft, he is more than typical rap bravado, Stashiz uses his trials and tribulations to fuel his art and doing so has resonated with all those who have heard his material.

After years of honing his craft, Rob began making moves with other underground artists such as Steph Pockets & Deep 6i

& Deep 6ix (whom Rob worked with on the soundtrack for “O”, starring Mekhi Phifer and Julia Stiles), as well as forming a group with family members and close friends, Raw Deal Squad (which consists of Rob Stashiz, Death DaVinci & Rome Ya’ Favorite Rapper). Stashiz would prove to be a standout act through his ability to craft catchy hooks and convey raw emotion no matter the subject matter. Songs like “No Matter What” and “Since I Was Young” reveal such emotion and story-telling that it can touch the hearts of any listener. It is the X factor that separates Rob Stashiz from so many other unsigned artists.

He slowly would grind his way to success by getting his buzz single “Make Em Listen” played on 100.3 The Beat and capitalizing on that success by releasing “Class Be Seated” with Raw Deal Squad. His current mixtape, “This F’N Guy: Stashiz Brigante” has given him more success due to the great response he’s been getting for the quality of the music and the huge push that the lead isingle “Philly Anthem” has been getting at live shows and the recently-filmed video. The time has come for this proud father and amazing artist. Backed by his Raw Deal Squad family, Stashiz is ready to conquer the music world…The Stashman Cometh
