It’s clear from the outset
that Elysia is very much a
team effort between Serena
and Jennie. But as Serena is
the architect of this world
inhabited by Angels and us
humans and being the one
who gives voice to Elysia and
her friends I decided to pick
her brains on the project.
GS: What would your elevator
pitch be for Elysia?

SO: A young girl, Elysia, turns
into an angel as she hits puberty and is forced to accept
her new form. With this, comes
the learning of her new powers in angel school with her
new angel friends, finding out
about the source of her angel
powers; her dead mother. On
top of all of this, Elysia has
to accept that she is the only

war that’s about to take place
