irst of all, let me say
how excited I am for our
upcoming annual meeting in
conjunction with the FAC, Oct.
20, in New Orleans during the Planet
Fitness franchise conference. As an organization still in its infancy, we already have
many achievements of which we can be
proud and I am looking forward to the
opportunity to share those with you in
person. I hope you have planned on joining
us to hear about these efforts, how they
positively affect you and your business and
to learn how you can get involved. I think
that you will be excited, too.
Speaking of getting involved, we will
elect four new members to our board of
directors during this meeting. These individuals will dedicate the next three years
to shaping and executing the direction of
our association. It can be a challenging yet
rewarding position and we are appreciative of their willingness to serve and
the time and effort they will put forth to
continue to grow PFIFA from the already
more than 80 percent of franchised clubs
that are members and achieve our longterm goals.
